Cookie Policy
Version 1.0 (private beta) · Published 18 October 2026 · Effective 1 November 2026
Applies to Synapse Console. Replaces the earlier draft.
This policy explains section 9 of our Privacy Policy in more detail.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. They let a site remember things such as that you are signed in. Browsers also offer similar storage, which this policy treats the same way.
2. What Synapse Console uses
- Essential cookies for signing in. Our sign-in provider, Clerk, sets the cookies that keep you signed in and protect your session. Synapse cannot work without them.
- Interface preferences in your browser's local storage. Synapse remembers whether the sidebar is collapsed, which panels are open, and which notifications you have read. These stay on your device and are not sent to us.
We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies or cross-site tracking cookies in Synapse Console. We do not use any analytics or advertising service there. The server that delivers Synapse does not set cookies of its own.
3. Other companies' resources
To show some pages, your browser fetches typefaces from Google Fonts, and the site builder loads open-source editor code from unpkg. We do not set cookies through these, but when your browser requests them the company serving them receives your IP address and browser details, as it does for any web request. They are listed in our Privacy Policy.
4. Your choices
You can control and delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings, and most browsers let you refuse new cookies or be warned when one is set. If you block the essential sign-in cookies you will not be able to sign in or use Synapse.
5. How long they last
The sign-in cookies last as long as your session, which is controlled by the session settings of our sign-in provider. Interface preferences stay in your browser until you clear it.
6. Our main website
Our main website at ytt.global is a separate site. It may measure visits with your consent, as explained there.
7. Changes
We may update this policy if our use of cookies changes. We will tell you about material changes by email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect, and we will show the new version number and date at the top of this page.
