Terms of Service

Version 1.0 (private beta) · Published 18 October 2026 · Effective 1 November 2026

Applies to everyone who creates an account or uses Synapse Console. Replaces the June 2025 version.

These Terms apply during the Synapse private beta. We may update them as the service develops, and we will tell you before any material change takes effect (see section 20).

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and YTT Global Services ("YTT Global", "we", "us") for your use of Synapse Console and its related websites and features (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have the authority to bind it, and "you" includes that organisation. You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract.

2. The Service and the private beta

Synapse Console is a content, communications and business-growth platform for small businesses, solo founders and community leaders. It includes tools for creating and publishing content, managing contacts and leads, sending email and SMS, running a careers pipeline, tracking links, and related analytics and AI features.

Synapse is currently in private beta. Features may change or be removed, may contain errors, and may be unavailable at times. We may limit who can use the beta and how much. Please do not rely on it as the only copy of anything important.

3. Your account

  • You must give accurate, complete and current information and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for everything done under your account. Tell us immediately at support@ytt.global if you suspect unauthorised use.
  • If you invite other people into your workspace, you are responsible for what they do, and workspace administrators can see and manage the workspace's data.
  • Accounts are for one person. Do not share a login.

4. Your content and your data

You own your content. What you create, upload or store in Synapse remains yours. You give us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store, process, display and transmit it solely to provide, secure and support the Service for you, and to improve the Service by reviewing error reports, support requests and performance data. We do not use your content to train AI models and we do not sell it.

Information about other people. When you store details of other people in Synapse (contacts, leads, applicants, clients, message recipients), you are responsible for having the right to collect and use them, for giving any notices and obtaining any consents the law requires, and for honouring their requests. We process that information only on your instructions, as described in our Data Processing Agreement.

Feedback. If you send us suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.

5. Messages you send through Synapse

Synapse can send email and SMS to your contacts. You are the sender, and you are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to those messages, including rules on consent, identification, opt-out and unsolicited communications (for example CAN-SPAM, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and, for recipients in India, applicable telecom and data-protection rules). Only message people you have the right to contact, honour opt-outs promptly, and do not send misleading or unlawful messages. Synapse adds an unsubscribe link to emails it sends for you; you must not remove it.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for anything unlawful, or to store or share content that is illegal, harmful, defamatory, hateful or that infringes someone else's rights;
  • send spam or other unsolicited or deceptive messages;
  • try to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts or other workspaces, or probe, scan or test our systems without our written permission;
  • interfere with or overload the Service, including by working around rate limits;
  • copy, scrape, reverse-engineer or resell the Service, except as the law allows;
  • impersonate anyone or misrepresent your affiliation; or
  • use the Service to store payment card numbers or other highly sensitive data it is not designed to hold.

We may remove content and suspend or end access that breaches this section or puts others at risk. Our Acceptable Use Policy gives more detail.

7. AI features

Some features use artificial intelligence to generate or score text. You choose when to use them. When you do, the information you submit is processed by our AI provider to produce the result, as described in our Privacy Policy.

AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable. You are responsible for reviewing it before you use or send it, and for how you use it. It is not legal, financial, medical or other professional advice, and a lead or contact score is only a prompt for your own judgement. Do not submit information you are not allowed to share.

8. Third-party services and integrations

Synapse works with services we do not control, such as LinkedIn and the websites or webhooks you connect. Your use of them is subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for them. When you connect an account, you authorise us to act on it only as you direct. You can disconnect at any time.

9. Our intellectual property

We own the Service, including its software, design and underlying technology. Subject to these Terms, we give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service for your own business purposes while you have an account. All rights we do not expressly give you are reserved.

10. Confidentiality

Each of us may receive non-public information from the other in connection with the Service ("Confidential Information"). Each of us will keep the other's Confidential Information confidential using at least reasonable care, use it only to perform or exercise rights under these Terms, and disclose it only to people who need to know it and are bound to keep it confidential, or as the law requires. This does not apply to information that is public through no fault of the recipient, was already known to it, or was developed independently.

11. Fees

We do not charge for the Service during the private beta. If we introduce paid plans, we will tell you at least 30 days in advance, and you will not be charged unless you choose a paid plan. Any fees, taxes, billing and refunds will be set out in the plan terms and our Refund & Cancellation Policy at that time.

12. Availability, support and changes

We work to keep the Service available, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free during the beta, and no service-level commitment applies unless we agree one with you in writing. We may perform maintenance and may change, suspend or discontinue features, and we will give notice where we reasonably can. Support is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis through support@ytt.global.

13. Suspension and termination

  • You may stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account at privacy@ytt.global.
  • We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms, if your use puts the Service or others at risk, if the law requires it, or if we end the beta or the Service. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you first.
  • When your access ends, your right to use the Service ends. You may ask us to export your data within 30 days of termination, and we will delete your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
  • Sections that by their nature should continue (including 4, 9, 10 and 14 to 17) survive termination.

14. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE, WHICH IS BETA SOFTWARE, IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI OUTPUT OR ANY OTHER CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE.

15. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YTT GLOBAL WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THEIR POSSIBILITY.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AND (B) US$100.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud.

16. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify YTT Global against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your content, your messages to your contacts, or your breach of these Terms or the law, to the extent permitted by law. We will tell you promptly of any such claim and reasonably cooperate with you at your cost.

17. Governing law and disputes

These Terms, and any dispute arising from them or the Service, are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The state and federal courts located in the State of Georgia have exclusive jurisdiction over any such dispute, and each of us consents to those courts and waives any objection to venue there. Before starting a formal claim, please contact legal@ytt.global so we can try to resolve it informally. Nothing here removes any mandatory consumer or data-protection rights you have under the law where you live.

18. Notices

We may give you notices by email to the address on your account or through the Service. You can give us notice at legal@ytt.global.

19. General

These Terms, with the Privacy Policy and any agreement we sign with you (such as a Data Processing Agreement), are the entire agreement between us about the Service. If any part is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent; we may transfer ours as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. Neither of us is liable for failure to perform caused by events beyond reasonable control.

20. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as Synapse develops. We will tell you about material changes by email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect, and we will show the new version number and date at the top of this page. If you keep using the Service after the change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms; if you do not agree, you may stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account.
